We are very proud of Ve’s black Labrador Missie who has started this week as a reading dog at Northdown Primary School. Missie is a registered Pets As Therapy dog and Ve and Missie will be going into school weekly for the children to read stories to Missie. Reading to a dog has been shown to help children struggling with literacy and also increases their self esteem. Missie tells me Spot the dog is her favourite story so far!!
