How we collect your information.
We may collect your personal data in the following ways:
- Directly from you when you fill in a registration form.
- When you make an enquiry on our website
- When you register on Class Manager
- When you phone, email, enquire on social media or make a face to face verbal enquiry
The types of information we collect
We may collect the following types of personal data about you:
- Your name and contact/ communications information including your postal address, phone numbers and email address and feedback, records of communications and interactions we have had with you.
- Information about your dog(s)
- Disputes / complaint correspondence
- Photographs or videos of your training classes
- Site usage information, from a cookie, log files and page tagging.
Legal basis for processing
Data protection law requires us to only process your personal data if we satisfy one or more legal grounds. These are set out in data protection law.
Contract
Article 6(1)(b) gives a lawful basis for processing where:
“processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract”
By making contact with Enve Canine Services Ltd via phone, website, social media or email and requesting further information on our services we must process your personal data in order for us to contact you in relation to that query. Once you have engaged our services processing of your personal data is necessary to keep you updated about appointment / course details and for invoicing.
In addition, consent is also given by signature on the registration form to use images or video of your dog on our social media or website.
How we use personal data
Your personal data will be used to communicate the details of your training classes to you for example class location, time, cost, outstanding balance etc or to inform you of events held by Enve Canine Services that may be of interest e.g. canine first aid training or dog shows. Your postal address may be used to send you any certificates awarded. Contact information may be included on invoices generated by FreeAgent or Class Manager to satisfy HMRC requirements for invoice content.
Photographs or video of your classes may be used on social media or our website to promote our services.
Log files
Log files allow us to record visitors’ use of the site. From time to time we may use a data research company to analyse log file information from all our visitors. We use this information to make changes to the layout of the website and to the information in it.
Log files do not contain any personal information and they are not used to identify any individual patterns of use of the site.
What happens when I link to another site?
We do not pass on any personal information you have given us to any other site.
The website contains links to other websites owned by third parties. This privacy policy applies only to our site, so you should always be aware when you are moving to another site and read the privacy statement of any site which collects personal information.
Your marketing preferences
We will always respect your wishes in respect to what type of communication you want to receive from us and how you want to receive them. There are some communications however that we need to send to you regardless of your marketing preferences in order to fulfil our obligation to you as a client.

Sharing your information with others
We will not sell your personal data. Your personal data will not be shared unless you have requested 1:1 training or home visit or, canicross. 1:1 training and home visits are provided by Aytuzee Canine Services on a consultancy basis. If you request the 1:1 training / home visit service your name, contact details and dogs details will be passed on to Aytuzee Canine Services, with your permission, for the purpose of arranging those appointments and any follow up. Canicross is provided by Human and Canine Fitness on a consultancy basis. If you request the 1:1 training / home visit service your name, contact details and dogs details will be passed on to Human and Canine Fitness, with your permission, for the purpose of arranging those appointments.
How long your information is kept
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary. If you have enquired about a service but not gone on to purchase our service your information will be held for 3 months after which it will be deleted or destroyed. If you have purchased our services it will be retained for the period that you remain a client after which it will be deleted or destroyed. Financial records containing personal information such as invoices will be kept for time periods as determined by HMRC.
Your rights
Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:
- You have the right to be provided with clear, transparent and easily understandable information about how we use your personal data and your rights. This is why we are providing you with this policy.
- Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
- Request correction of personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
- Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
- You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
- Object to processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
- Request the restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal data about you, for example, if you want us to establish tis accuracy or the reason for processing it. You can also withdraw your consent, where this is the basis for our processing your data (without affecting the lawfulness of our previous processing based on consent).
- Request the transfer of your personal data to another party.
Please note that the above rights are not absolute, and we may be entitled to refuse requests where exceptions apply.
