Group Dog Training Classes

Enve Canine Services (est. 2010) are an experienced, fun, friendly dog training club training upwards of 250 dogs and owners a week.

Friendly, welcoming instructors take personal pride in seeing the dogs progress and owners confidence and handling skills improve. We recognise that different training methods suit different dogs and will work with you to find the right solution for you both.

There is no need to be nervous we guarantee that someone at the club has experienced the same problems as you. You will meet friendly, like minded people all of whom love and want the best for their dog. We offer the chance for everyone to progress through Enve Canine Services own achievement levels resulting in the presentation of certificates.

Obedience

Our group obedience classes focus on all common behavioural problems in the pet dog (e.g. pulling on the lead, jumping up, coming when called, dog manners, stays) to give you a dog that you can be proud of. This is achieved by building your relationship with your dog, building in focus and calmness and teaching your dog that the right choices are fun and rewarding. Although the classes main focus is obedience we like to offer the dogs something different to do, some enrichment and as a result you may have the opportunity to try agility, hoopers or scentwork.

Agility

Some of our classes feature fun, controlled, agility utilising our extensive range of equipment including tunnels, jumps, raised walkway, see-saw, tyre jump and lots more. Agility training develops the owners handling skills and makes the class challenging and interesting for the dog.

Hoopers

In February 2020 we introduced canine hoopers to our Deal venue. Hoopers is a fast, fun, low impact sport similar to agility but with ground level hoops instead of jumps. This makes it suitable for puppies through to the senior dog or those with medical conditions that preclude jumping. The aim of hoopers is distance handling and as such is accessible to all handlers.

Scentwork

New for April 2021 on Wednesdays at Minster we are excited to introduce scentwork. Scentwork utilises yours dogs number one sense. Learn to work your dog like a search handler looking for a hidden scent. Teach them to indicate, to show you where the item is. Scentwork is a great mental workout for your dog and tires them out in ways that you cannot achieve physically. It is the job many were bred for, uses their natural ability, the dogs love it and it is hugely rewarding for the handler too. All breeds can take part and all ages. We hope to offer scentwork at more venues in 2021.
